Sunny Day

Like Rebekah, I'm heading out to get some sunshine today!  It's supposed to be the nicest day of the week, so going to make good use of it.  Yesterday, Levi found a nest in one of the flower bushes; with 20 or 21 quail eggs in it!  The mother has been busy keeping them warm, now we know why the quail have been hanging around the front door.  Can you imagine taking care of 20 baby birds at once......?!  Like my SIL, Bethaney, mentioned; can you imagine that many worms.....?  We are looking forward to being observers, and the nest just happens to be just ouside one of Breanna's bedroom windows.  So we can watch and not disturb!

Also, check out Melissa's post today, she's celebrating 5000 blog visits!

Today I'm wondering what kind of posts you like best.  Family? Quilting? Recipes?  Just curious.  I noticed a week or so ago that I'd gotten over 10,000 blog visits, woah, you seriously like reading this?  Thanks for stopping by, and I decided to give away a pot-holder to one person who leaves a comment.  The winner will be chosen on Sunday evening of June 5th (it's Levi's 4th birthday, he'll be picking a number).  I'm not quite up to 100 posts yet, but it's coming right up, maybe I'll choose anothen then.  And if you don't like what you see, let me know what color/theme you do like!
In normal life I would be a little concerned if there were 33 people "following" me, but I'm thinking this blog type of follower is a different type?  Thanks for your comments, hope you are having a wonderful week!  It will be what you make it, no matter what comes along.  Happy Tuesday!

Lisa...I enjoy all of your posts!! I love seeing what you've been working on (always amazing) and catching up with your little family. It is a bit strange to want people to be following you, eh? :)

I love your banner photo, by the way. It's gorgeous! If you'd agree, I'd love to make you something with it, but you'll need to send me the file via e-mail. :)

LISA!! Your new blog design is delightful and so YOU. Way to go! I got my part of the mowing done and now hubby says go ahead with his since he'll be home late. Sounds good to me, I love to sit out there on the mower and THINK! :)

Hi Lisa! I hope to put your mind at ease by telling you that I went to school with Lindsey and Bethaney and through looking at the blogs they follow I found yours. I saw the quilts and was so inspired granted I have no sewing machine and haven't sewed since I was 13 but maybe someday. I am in awe of how beautiful your projects have been and am anxiously awaiting your etsy site and getting up the funds to order some of your handiwork. When will the etsy site be ready?

Lisa I always enjoy your blog. I love the quilts, the family and the food. You know just when to add to each and that makes for a very interesting blog to read and to follow. I saw the new style potholder in an store and thought I really like the idea, much better than a potholder mite. All the colors are wonderful, but you know me, I love my greens.

I love all your posts, but I have to say I get most excited when I see pictures of your squidlets-- we like to keep track of the cousins! ;-) And I love the color of the background, and the banner you have across the top. Great job!
