Five Years Old, and a Table Runner

Levi had his fifth birthday today, and boy was he excited!
This morning he kept saying "Mom, is it really June 5th?!"
When we dropped off the kids at school, I asked him what he wanted for breakfast on this fine birthday morning.  His reply "cake!"  didn't sound like a very good breakfast, so we got something much healthier.
One dozen doughnuts!!!

He was walking thru the parking lot carrying the box across both arms, and said he was a forklift.
He had a lot of enthusiasm about this day!

These are from my phone, so not great clarity- but you get the idea.

Blowing out the candle.

He wanted me to repeat Daddy's cake, but this is the best I got.
The poor lighting and time of day made for some terrible colored photos, the colors are soo bad, but the feelings are there.
Two thumbs up!

And thanks to all of you who helped by purchasing my items from Etsy, I now have a new stove and overhead microwave!  It is so nice to be able to cook easily again, and it felt even better to not put them on a credit card!  Nothing fancy, but they work fantastic.

I finished up this table-runner today, and rinsed & dried it for that crinkly effect.

Various "leftover" aqua blues and lime greens, fresh and springy!

Measures approximately 20 x 38.5 inches, and now available in my etsy shop. (< link)

I have been sewing so many things lately, but I don't have pics right now.  I have been terrible at blogging, and also reading blogs; but feel like I've been very productive.  Maybe that's a sign..... ;)
More pics coming soon, hope you are having a wonderful week!
